Standing up for Sunderland Central

World Cancer Day

Julie was pleased to support World Cancer Day as she met with representatives from four of the UK’s leading cancer charities - Cancer Research UK, Breast Cancer Care, Anthony Nolan and the Movember Foundation - who are working together to unite the nation and help to transform the lives of millions of people in our country who are affected by this dreadful disease.

"I am proud to support World Cancer Day and it was fantastic to speak with representatives from four wonderful charities. Today is a reminder that we have a chance to get involved and help reduce the impact of cancer on future generations. I hope people will wear a Unity Band, make a donation or spread the word on social media."
