Walking in a Postman’s Shoes

Julie gained first hand experience of the work being done by Royal Mail this morning as she helped a local postman on his round.  Royal Mail is modernising and adapting due to a fall in the numbers of letters and increasing numbers of parcels, largely as a result of people shopping online. 


Julie said:

"It was great to see how the whole process works from the sorting depot to the front door.  Tommy gave me a fantastic insight to his role and how it has developed over the years."
