Julie, in her capacity as a member of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, attended an event hosted by UK Music. UK Music is the umbrella body for the commercial music industry. The organisation produces an annual report into the economic impact of the sector called Measuring Music and has been at the forefront of leading recent campaigns on copyright, the BBC and music venues.

On the event, Julie said:
