Julie has been successful in her application to the Backbench Business Committee to bring forward a debate on the UK’s creative industries. 

The full motion of the debate reads: ‘That this House has considered the need to support the UK’s creative industries and their contribution to the UK economy’ and it will take place on Thursday 7 July.

Julie, along with Chris White MP, Michelle Thomson MP and Chris Law MP, applied to the Backbench Business Committee for this debate because they wanted to show support for local creative industries in their constituencies and will do so this Thursday.
