Julie Elliott MP Standing up for Sunderland Central
A supporter of Siobhain McDonaugh MP’s campaign on the National Living Wage from the start, Julie has added her name to Siobhain’s letter to the CEO of Marks and Spencer, Mr Steve Rowe, to put pressure on the company to change their current proposals.
Marks and Spencer has proposed several changes to employee terms and conditions that will see thousands of long-serving workers lose out. These changes include, cutting Sunday premium, cutting Bank Holiday premium, limiting ‘unsocial’ hours and scrapping the existing pension scheme.
