Julie supported fellow Labour MP, Melanie Onn’s Ten Minute Rule Bill which called for the protection of workers’ rights. Through a wide range of treaty provisions and directives, the EU has given British workers important employment protections and these must be guaranteed by the Government in the wake of Brexit.

The Bill will receive its Second Reading in November.
