Julie is demanding action over the geographical health inequalities facing Sunderland.
“In Health Questions this week I asked Health Ministers what action they would be taking to address these inequalities,” she said.
“In the North East, on average 33% of adults regularly take part in sport compared with 38% of adults living in London.
“Participating in regular physical activity brings many benefits for our physical and mental health and it is crucial that the Government acts to ensure that regional discrepancies are tackled.”
