Julie spoke at an event which took place at Sunderland Student Union involving representatives from several Northern universities. Entitled Working with your MP, effective partnerships and appropriate approaches, Julie’s session consisted of talking about the role of an MP and the importance of campaigning to improve the lives of others.

“It was wonderful to speak at Sunderland University’s Student Union. It is always great to see young people who are passionate about improving the lives of others. The university is one of our city’s greatest assets and it is fantastic to hear how keen members of the Student Union are to get involved in campaigns.”
