Supporting our WASPI women

Julie supports the Women Against State Pension Inequality (WASPI) campaign which aims to achieve fair transitional State Pension arrangements for women born in the 1950s (on or after 6 April 1951) and recently joined campaigners to collect signatures for their petition in the city centre.

If you are impacted by this issue then you are invited to a WASPI coffee morning Julie is hosting this weekend.  The coffee morning is taking place from:

“We all recognise that the State Pension age needs to increase but people need to be given enough notice of any changes to plan for retirement, this hasn’t happened.  The WASPI campaign is doing a great job in raising awareness of the inequalities effecting many women born in the 1950s and calling on the Government to introduce transitional arrangements.”
