I was delighted to attend a Be Internet Legends assembly at Hill View Junior Academy recently to see pupils develop their digital skills – ones they need to explore internet opportunities more safely.

It is absolutely vital that we teach children across Sunderland Central to thrive in a digital age, and I am pleased that Google and Parent Zone are leading the way on this important issue.
