Today in Parliament I asked the Home Secretary what, in the wake of a recent meeting in the US between Culture Secretary Jeremy Wright and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, is to be done to keep people safe online.

The Home Secretary agreed that this is a very important issue and promised to write to me after talking with the Culture Secretary later today. I look forward to receiving that letter. We heard today that some progress is being made, but there is still much more to do.
