I was delighted to join the Guide Dogs organisation in Parliament today to show my support for their #AccessAllAreas campaign.

Figures released by the charity show 75% of assistance dog owners have been refused access to a restaurant, shop or taxi in the last six months – a right most sighted people take for granted.

This is just not fair as, under the Equality Act, guide dog and other assistance dog owners have the right to enter the majority of services, premises and vehicles with their dog.
