Julie Elliott MP

Standing up for Sunderland Central

Julie supports local pharmacies

Julie attended an event to support local pharmacies in Parliament. There are over 11,700 NHS community pharmacies in England and a quarter of them are at risk from Government cuts.

At the event, Julie said:

"Pharmacies are a lifeline for people in Sunderland Central to help them to get the help they need without having to see their GP or go to A&E. Tory cuts to them would only add to the burden that our NHS is facing and we must not let them happen."
