Julie hosts Premiership Rugby Awards in Parliament

Julie was delighted to host the annual Premiership Rugby Awards to celebrate the work that professional clubs, their players, volunteers and community teams do to change the lives of young or disadvantaged people.

At the event, guests were able to learn about the work of the clubs as well as meet volunteers, players, staff and charities involved in the community work locally and nationally. Julie presented an regional award to Hamim Ally, photographed above with Julie and Paul Farrelly MP, who has come through the Newcastle Falcons HITZ scheme graduate programme in recognition of his hard work, great attitude and determination.

At the event, Julie said:

"It has been wonderful for the Rugby Union APPG to have teamed up with Premiership Rugby for this fantastic event. I would like to congratulate all who were nominated for these prestigious awards and wish them all the very best in the future."
