In her role as Chair of the All Parliamentary Party Group for Rugby Union, Julie held a meeting in Portcullis House and was joined by Steve Brown, the Managing Director of England Rugby 2015.

The event was well-attended and Mr Brown discussed the success of the tournament, held in England last summer, and the importance of legacy building.

After the meeting, Julie said:

“I was very pleased to welcome Steve to our meeting today. The World Cup was a fantastic event and I was delighted to hear of the work that is being done to ensure that there is a lasting legacy from the tournament.”
