In today’s DWP questions, Julie asked the Minister why he has not taken the opportunity to put right the wrongs of the last Coalition Government and implement proper transitional arrangements for women who have been adversely affected by the speeding up of the state pension age.

Research suggests that 4290 women in Sunderland Central have been affected by these changes and the Secretary of State for the Department of Work and Pensions is refusing to offer a solution for these hard-working women.
