Julie attended an event to support local pharmacies in Parliament. There are over 11,700 NHS community pharmacies in England and a quarter of them are at risk from Government cuts.

At the event, Julie said:

“Pharmacies are a lifeline for people in Sunderland Central to help them to get the help they need without having to see their GP or go to A&E. Tory cuts to them would only add to the burden that our NHS is facing and we must not let them happen.”
