Last night, Julie chaired a residents meeting in Fulwell focusing on policing, crime and anti-social behaviour.  The event, which took place at the Mill View Social Club, was attended by almost 50 residents and was organised by local resident Margaret Beck.

Residents were able to share their concerns with Vera Baird QC, Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner and PC Gary Mee, Neighbourhood Beat Manager for the area.  A wide range of questions were asked on everything from localised anti-social behaviour to regional policing reforms.

Julie said:

“I would like to thank the residents who gave up their own time to attend the meeting last night as without them the event would not have been possible.

“I am currently helping a handful of people who were unable to attend the meeting but had issues they would have liked to raise.  If you have a concern you would like my assistance with, in relation to policing or anything else, please do not hesitate to get in touch.”
