I’m delighted to have signed up as a member of the Mothers’ Union this year -; an organisation which does an awful lot of good work all around the world.

The MU is part of Make Poverty History and, within the UK, it has successfully lobbied government to introduce the right to request flexible working for all parents.

It is also commendable that the MU has campaigned against the trafficking of women, as well as violence against women. It has many praise-worthy projects across more than 80 countries.
