Today, as part of celebrations in Parliament marking the 100th anniversary of the first women winning the vote in 1918, I posted a ‘letter to the future’ to the #Vote100 time capsule.

All letters posted by MPs today will be opened in 2028 – to mark the centenary of Universal Suffrage in 1928, when equal voting rights for men and women were finally achieved.
