At Energy and Climate Change Questions on 3 April, I questioned Energy Secretary Ed Davey about the Government’s onshore wind policy.

DECC’s own analysis shows that onshore wind is by far the cheapest large-scale renewable energy source that can be deployed at significant scale, yet it was reported last week that the Prime Minister wants, in effect, a moratorium on onshore wind. I asked what impact does the Secretary of State thinks such loose talk has on investment, and whether he supports the Prime Minister on this issue?
