Today, Julie addressed the Dods Renewable Energy reception to talk about the importance of clean energy to jobs, growth and our future energy security.

Julie said:

“Through a 2030 power sector decarbonisation target, the creation of an Energy Security Board, greater powers for the Green Investment Bank and by sticking with Contracts for Difference, Labour is committed to building a thriving clean energy sector.  

“This will  supporting hundreds of thousands of jobs and will help produce the energy our country needs to succeed.”
